GiftWit is an independent UK deals and price-comparison site. No inflated "was" prices, no fake countdown timers, no games. Just the real price now, the price before, and exactly what you save.
Most deal sites are built to make you feel a rush — a timer ticking down, a "was £199" that was never really £199, a discount code that expired months ago. It works for a click, then it burns the trust. We started GiftWit because we were tired of it, and because checking whether something is genuinely a good price shouldn't take three tabs and a leap of faith.
If a thing isn't actually cheaper today, we won't dress it up as if it is.
We're a small, independent team based in the UK. GiftWit launched in 2026. It's young — we won't pretend otherwise — but the principle it's built on isn't going to change as it grows: the mechanism stays honest. You should be able to trust a price on GiftWit the same way you'd trust a friend who happens to know what things cost.
When you click through to a retailer and buy, we sometimes earn a small affiliate commission — paid by the retailer, at no extra cost to you. That's the whole model. We don't take payment to rank a product higher, we don't sell your data, and a paid placement never jumps the queue ahead of a genuinely better price. The optional Pro membership (things like the Upgrade Finder) helps fund the site directly so we're never tempted to.
Prices come straight from retailer feeds, refreshed continuously. The "saving" you see is calculated from the retailer's own current and prior price — never a number we invented to make something look like a bargain. Voucher codes come from dated promotion feeds, so what you see is a real code with a real expiry, not a stale one left up to farm clicks. When we can't verify a saving, we don't claim one.
A price looks wrong? A question about membership? Just want to say hello? We read every message and usually reply within a day.
